MNPL

The MNPL is the political arm of our union.
It is funded by donations, not dues.
If we want labor friendly legislation in our
government our unions need to be able to
lobby with more than just your vote, our
legislators need to be able to rely on our
financial support. The day after the election
your vote is as valuable as yesterdays
newspaper. It is the people and organizations
that financed the legislator that counts. Less
than one percent of our people financialy
support the candidates. Unions are the only
voice labor has in the political arena.
Unions have 13 million members in the USA.
but the average contribution per member is
less than $4 a year. Last year one million
workers were fired because their jobs were
globalized. We must change that! Or we will
all end up slaves to our Corporate Masters.
